Jewish Ethics and the Environment: How We Can Make A Difference In Our Community
September 13, 2025 at 10:00 am
We will take a guided twenty-five minute (low impact) walk at Ryerson Lake County Forest Preserve. After the walk, we will go to Kadima for an introduction to Jewish ethics and the environment. We will then learn what we can do as a congregation to advocate and participate in environmental activities to benefit the areas in our local community.
For those who prefer not to participate in the walk, you are invited to join us at the Kadima location at approximately 10:45.
For those going on the guided walk, it is suggested that you wear long pants and long sleeves.
It is also recommended that you bring a hat, sun block, and insect repellant.
We will be walking on a marked flat trail. If the weather is not cooperative, we will meet at Kadima instead of walking the trail.
